Our service to you
All the photographic footage we create as part of your package will be cinematically edited and colour graded to showcase your day in the most beautiful way it deserves. We will tailor a package to your individual needs and budget providing you with photos and/or a film that matches your personality and style. Current rates are available on our website. This rate is based on the hours spent on your wedding day.
IMPORTANT: Prices shown currently on the website may have changed since you booked so please refer to your personal email correspondence with us for your particular product fees.
Terms and Conditions
Reservation and liability. Upon payment of the booking fee, Westward Films will reserve the date of your event and will not schedule any event conflicting with the filming of your event. Under all circumstances, the booking fee is a non-refundable credit towards the total price of the package agreed upon above. The remainder of the balance is due no later than two weeks prior to the scheduled event. Editing of the footage and delivery of the final product will only commence if the balance is received in full. Postponement of the event for any reason, including COVID related restrictions that prevent the event from going ahead, is free of charge on 2 occasions after which a $150 fee is charged per change. Under all circumstances, Westward Films’ liability is limited to a full refund of monies paid to Westward Films. Westward Films reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reason. Should this contract be terminated by Westward Films, all monies paid will be refunded to the client and Westward Films shall not be held liable.
All packages include a total of 2 hours travel to and from the relevant locations. Travel time in excess of 2 hours is charged at $50 / hour. The client is responsible for securing the permission to record at the ceremony or reception venue. Westward films will not be liable for any production problems due to access restrictions. Westward Films will attempt to comply with all special requests made by the client, but cannot guarantee the acquisition of any particular angle, person, place, thing or situation. Westward Films cannot guarantee the acquisition of a particular angle, person, place, thing, or situation under circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to power failure, unforeseen equipment malfunction or natural disasters. If circumstances beyond Westward Films' control including but not limited to power failure, unforeseen equipment malfunction, unforeseen personal injury or natural disasters, prevent the acquisition of the client's event, Westward Films shall refund all monies paid to the client and Westward Films shall not be held liable by the client. In signing this agreement, the client is acting as agent for all members of the party including family, friends, guests, and staff and grants Westward Films all rights for display, airing, exhibition, promotion, and advertising of images and video produced under this contract.
Standard delivery of the finished videos and/or photos will be within 10 weeks of the event. No part of the footage will be processed, edited or delivered until the balance is paid in full. If extra material such as photos, specifically requested music or optional package upgrades are added then the delivery term will be 10 weeks from the moment this material is received by Westward Films from the client. Westward Films is not responsible for any supplied material lost or damaged while in possession of Westward Films or in transit. The finished product is a production of Westward Films and is intended for the client’s private home use only. Any commercial or non-commercial duplication without the written consent of Westward Films is in violation of Australian copyright law and is prohibited. All photo, video and audio footage will be retained by Westward Films. Westward Films will not be responsible for future loss or damage of raw video footage after the fulfilment of this contract.
